Position: President and Director
Mr. James started his exploration career in 1997 working as an exploration geologist in Tanzania with Ashanti Goldfields. He spent 5 years working in London for Bloomberg and Yahoo on various debt and equity roadshows. In 2005 joined ACA Howe and consulted on various exploration projects across Africa, Europe and Asia. He joined Stratex International in 2007 managing exploration on the Inlice gold deposit in Turkey before establishing operations and exploration projects in Ethiopia, leading teams to the discovery of the Afar Epithermal Province, which is now under a JV agreement with Thani Ashanti (a JV company of Anglo Ashanti). Dan is a member of the Society of Economic Geologists and a fellow of the Geological Society of London.

Mr Ridgway and the exploration teams under his guidance have discovered gold deposits in Honduras, Guatemala, and Nicaragua. On the financial side, Companies operating under the Gold Group banner have raised over CAD $400 million for exploration and development projects since 2003. Simon is the Chairman of Fortuna Silver Mines, Focus Ventures and of Radius Gold.
Mr. Rushton has a B.Sc. in geology from Portsmouth University in the UK, a Master's degree in economic geology from the University of Alberta, and a Certificate in Business Communications from Simon Fraser University. He has over 25 years experience in mining and exploration gained working as a geologist for the Anglo American group in Southern Africa, the Middle East and Eastern Europe, and more recently with Simon Ridgway's companies. For the last 13 years he has focused on corporate development and investor relations, and is a director or officer of a number of Canadian listed resource companies.
|Jeremy J. Martin|
Position: Founder and Director
Mr. Martin holds a degree in mining geology from the Camborne School of Mines, and a MSc. in mineral exploration from the University of Leicester. He has worked in South America and in Central America and Europe, where he was responsible for grassroots regional metalliferous exploration programmes through to resources definition and mine development. Jeremy has been involved in the formation of two AIM traded companies and has completed a number of high value mineral project transactions. He has served on the board of Ovoca Gold Plc and is a member of the Society of Economic Geologists and the Institute of Mining Analysts.
|David J. Hall|
Position: Founder and Director
Mr Hall is a graduate in geology from Trinity College Dublin and holds a Masters Degree in Mineral Exploration from Queens University, Kingston, Ontario. He has 29 years of experience in the exploration sector and has worked on and assessed exploration projects and mines in over 50 countries. From 1992, Mr Hall was Chief Geologist for Minorco SA, responsible for Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East. He moved to South America in 1997 as a consultant geologist for Minorco South America and subsequently became exploration manager for AngloGold South America in 1999, where he was responsible for exploration around the Cerro Vanguardia gold mine in Argentina, around the Morro Velho and Crixas mines in Brazil and establishing the exploration programme that resulted in the discovery of the La Rescantada gold deposit in Peru as well as certain joint ventures in Ecuador and Colombia.. Mr Hall is also founder and Chairman of Stratex International Plc, an AIM traded company with exploration assets in Turkey and in which Teck Resources Limited is an equity shareholder. Mr Hall is a fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists and EuroGeol.
Mr. Skead, a geologist by training, has extensive exploration experience in Africa, including the DRC where he was Vice President -- Exploration for Banro Corporation. He led Banro's exploration and was responsible for advancing their projects to the feasibility stage. Prior to Banro, he was the Exploration Manager for SAMAX Gold and was responsible for the discoveries of the Kukuluma and Matandani gold deposits in the Geita Greenstone Belt in Tanzania. The two deposits were brought into production as the Geita Mine, which is currently the largest open pit mining in East Africa. Mike was also Exploration Manager for Ashanti Goldfields until 2001. He has also worked on mineral exploration projects in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Namibia and Indonesia. He holds an M.Sc. in Exploration Geology, and is a member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, The South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions, the Geological Society of South Africa and the Society of Economic Geologists.
